A fisherman works the falls from the bank of the White River. Note the people in the far distance that are standing on the rock shelf that juts into the White River to create the famous rapids at Hindostan Falls.

These fishermen brought their wives along for the day. They snooze on a blanket. The roar of the falls drowns out the outside world. In the playpen is a todler that is also sleeping. The falls are very restful.

A lady goes in after the big ones. Her son is on the bank at the right. She said they were from Bedford and it was their first time at the Falls.

A view downstream from atop the rock shelf that juts into the White River at Hindostan Falls. This shelf is often covered with water, as evidenced by the grooves in the rock, but when the river is low it provides a nice platform for us sightseers.
